I will stand still...Beside the wild Iris's...Here...I touch your beautiful soul...

The whippoorwills sing

Deep inside of the forest

My sweet Iris'

If I could wish for a moment

Come true

It would be

In this moment with you

Your death has left me torn

Leaving me consumed in anger

The only peace in my heart

Be here in the forest

Where together we treasured

Nature in adoration

I will stand still beside

The wild Iris's that grow

For

It is here

I'm able to touch your beautiful soul

Debra,

Very beautiful and so endearing. A secret place all your own where special memories were made. Love it my friend.

Touching and poignantly tender write that lets the reader know that although you grieve your love has not diminished just passed on to another plane of existanc. Well done Deb.

I feel music in this poem. It could be lyrics to a song. Very nice.
