Love this idea of the "unspoken voice of a DNA that we hear and receive in the depths of our bones". I think you have hit upon two of the most driving and fundamental needs and desires of the human heart, mind and soul: hope and love - faith encompassing both. I have such a sense of this "voice" choosing the strength of vulnerability; choosing to cast adrift, placing trust in the security of deep waters - with no other end in mind than to just purely "be in completeness". A beautiful, complete write here, Jude, which quite takes my breath away, makes me speechless!!! A wonderful poem of proposal for those who have ears to hear - and my guess is that that would be all of us, whether we name it "faith" or not. Stunning! TY Kate xx

One's faith is as self-proclaimed as one's fingerprints, or one's dna, just as you've mentioned.

were you sitting on a mountain when you wrote these truths, medicine man? seriously, this touches me deeply. so far as the craft of poetry goes, the building drumbeat (I'm hearing native American chanting rise and fall) you've achieved is phenomenal. and you grew right into this topic quite well. wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!

This reads like a chant. One line builds into the next and on to the grand crescendo. The truth and faith are within us...when either one speaks, we need to be ready to listen… Violate either and be prepared to pay the price of doing so. This is an excellent write, Robert. I really like the cadence.
