Truth is the truth. Well said the ACE..

If objective and absolute Truth exists, than it is of no use to us not to discover and believe it! Whether we believe it or not makes no difference to its existance, but greatly affects ours! We cannot alter it with our opinions. I believe that it is both concealed and revealed in the person of Jesus Christ; that the more we seek by faith to be filled by His Spirit, the more Truth we understand. That makes us more yielded, loving and accepting - not more hardline and religious. Sadly, by enlarge, Christ's church is, perhaps, a poor example of the Truth of the nature and intentions of God and, as always, has become the (somewhat dead and bankrupted) religion of man. That is my truth. I have the greatest of respect for, and feeling of mutuality with those of other beliefs and religions - more so than with the person, sometimes, who sits next to me on a pew in a Christian church. That is also my truth. I have already said way too much, but wouldn't it be great if we could all sit round a table and discuss these things together?! THAT would be rocket fuel - and rocket science, I'll bet!! :)) Complex poem, Jude; provoking, beautifully landscaped. I especially love the lines: "It wanders freely and is held by few / It lives at home yet resides on the road". Life, the universe and everything in 33 lines!! TY Kate xx

I think you are somewhat right on this one, however I tend to disown my RC relilgious images of heaven and hell (whick even with purgatory thrown in is much to black and white), in favour of diffeerent planes of existance. Well done Robert...great prose

Truth is not always enjoyed, liked, or well received. But it needs to be accepted - as truth.

I like this one especially because of what you point out is the truth.

I wonder if it is possible to speak of absolute truth and not point to God. Truth can be somewhat subjective from one person to the next. Some things in life are black and white, but many more are shades of gray. So it is with truth. The only absolute truth I know, comes from within where all knowledge and faith is stored. Excellent writing, Robert, you really make the wheels turn with this one.

This is an exceptional write. You bring forth the thinking process more than any poet I know. But, I'm with Eileen. Creator is the only truth. I don't understand it, just accept it.

The question , is that subjective ot objective. Is everyones truth your truth or my truth. I believe Creator is truth do those who don't not know the truth or is it I who don't know the truth, and how do you tell whose truth is truth...Very excellent thought provoking poem as you always do, Jude.
