This endless footprint upon my mind
Leading to everywhere but where I am standing

Robert, I kept dwelling on "cold yet vibrant night" because you gave voice to a recurring thought of mine... but it's the subject of the sea and your gift for metaphor that surrounds my head when I read you... In my opinion, the last 3 lines have few, if any, equals, even for you! Great stuff! katy xox.

"It is pretty far down onto the shore" as a maritimer I love the way this line rolls off the tongue but the hanging branch worries me. Great write Robert.

...Go on, then!!!! Silky smooth, as has been said, but it is indeed like a mysterious allegory of the buoy, the branch and the sea... so what is the footprint saying? Reckon that's the key to this enigma. Glad to see there are others who listen to anything other than their head!! Being an ocean man, I bet you'll go with the safety of deep waters, your true home. "Warm eyes" is a unique, evocative and transcendent image that speaks volumes about the nature of the voice. Will you be back tomorrow?! :)) TY LOL Kate xx

the smoothness of this write gives one the feeling of floating
slowly over the waters edge skin senses the ocean

"Before nature is frozen And my eyes are still warm" The contrast here is beautifully expressed. I see you as always being suspended over life. Pushing your creativity to the limit, observing with eyes that see so much more than the average person. Exceptional write, Jude.
