Jude, (wiping the tears so I can see to type) this touched me in a very deep and private place. It's almost as though you were writing this for me.
I agree with whoever said, this should be put up on walls within maternity wards, within day care centers, shopping malls, anywhere where parents and children congregate.
The words are so wise and true... the entire poem is beautifully wrought, I can't choose which lines I favor...
This is filled with truth and wisdom. I assume you have children or are close to children. You seem to have an intense love and concern for them. I feel this love in my sons and grandchildren. Beautiful write, Jude.

aOh Robert, that last line is such a kicker, wow !! The continuance of our legacy, and what was it, That we l oved children. Needless to say, we all are containing a child too, and I have found personally, that that child responds to love too; I have been absolutely amazed how people react and display their enthusiasm, when you love the child in them, they just become like kids, ty Robert, Al
These words should adorn the ;maternity wards of all the hospitals as it is an excellant statement on what parenting should be. You have captured it so well.
Your wisdom shines through in this beautiful poem, Robert. Learning from love doesn't stop with children, for we learn from both love and from our children as well.

The youth of a child's heart still shines through your writes and makes you all that more interesting to get to know. Wonderful write.
... And hopefully they will not only continue it, but compound it and concentrate it - like all the energy and potential that carries on through the seed. Anything we can usefully give them and teach them is returned to us multiplied: this is the true meaning of "investment", I think. Investing in people's lives - especially all the young ones with their massive capacity for growth and potential - is never, ever wasted. Uplifting write, Jude. We must strive to maintain generational connectivity at all costs: something we are losing with the breakdown of family and community... but that's enough of that!! Aye, basking in the light of our children is both illuminating and energising... discovering and feeding the inner child in each one of us is equally as rewarding and revealing, sometimes!
