~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Come on
See the sun
Flash inside my eyes
Revealing an ordinary man
With a heart of universal tides
And a desire
Of reaching inside
Those who voyage stars
And embrace the earth
Envisioning
The possible and true
As everything remaining in motion
Come on
See another mother’s son
Spreading his soul’s seed
For we all are flourishing
Ace, you've seen it too. That fire in young man's eyes which will someday take us to the stars. Well-crafted.
Strong emotional write... to live here, but, together, to dream of new and better worlds... to nourish each other and our creative souls... sounds like Utopia...
Hmmm, the desire to not be idealized, but to be seen as simply yourself and accepted and to go along the path, growing with others at your side, to live in hope that each one will acknowledge each other as just another traveller looking for the light and respect that person, harming no one, and to respect our brother's and sister's journey as we expect others to respect our own. We should all love so. The trick is that someone must speak and disagree at some point, how else will the truly confounded know their map's upside down? ;-) Thank you, Shaman. *kisses* ~~Nordette
Now this one I like Jude, it is what man should understand in the basic scheme of Gods master plan. Well stated but easily grasped.
We must all sow the seeds of our souls and allow our beautiful blooms to be seen by all around us. That journey into the outer realms is where we go to learn truth and all of the real knowledge that will guide us through our lives. Excellent poem with a lot to ponder after the read.
Take care,
Sherry
In order to co-exist within this world, there comes a time when we must all see, the other Mother's son.
Wonderful thoughts Robert.
The immensity of a tree that can make all the difference in the forest... all within a seed. If only each seed would hear its own song, if only the forest would hear the song within each seed. All could, indeed, be aware that they are potentially flourishing. Powerful poetry, even more powerful message.
Don't you just love Kate? Her reviews always make me smile. They are always so thoughtful and fluid.
Back to your poem. I didn't interpret this as Kate did but I did found it to be inspiring and uplifting. You certainly have spread your creative seed around and I know that you are an inspiration to many people.
This is a beautiful sequel to yesterday's write as it has that "Heigh Ho Silver, Away!!"-kinda feel as you jump astride that winged messenger... Love the energy and drive, the universality and the unique individuality of this. You make anything and everything seem possible for anyone and everyone and indeed, as a result, we ARE all flourishing. Gloriously transcendent and so tenderly visceral: it's all "out there" but it is very much "from the inside", too. This will spur me on my way to the Poetry Library in London today, and the hopes and dreams of the "forever" people that lie within it... Giddy'up, there, Peg...!! TY for this free-flying, spirited gallop! Kate xx
