Poetic lubricous
Unlocks the corners of artistic design

It is an expanding blueprint of articulation

It arouses words
To slide into themselves

Giving birth to their conceptual offspring

I will never deny
The impulse to harvest the juices of perception

Or refuse to explore the landscape
Outside the parameters of the traditionalist mindset

This poem is alive and on its own:
I am just a transpose figment of its imagination

I consciously submit to its decree:
To nurture its beginning
And construct the finality of its posture

I set my course to the motion it offers
And breathe life into its lungs

I am unleashing its momentum
So it will replenish my blood

Forming imagery by its own design

Surrendering itself
Entirely on my ability
To assemble its fluidity into form

The only way that I ever "write" something is when it writes itself; most often in the dark hours. I cannot ever seem to write anything of my own accord. Truth expressed in your verses, Jude. Thank you. Love and peace to you. Regis

"This poem is alive and on its own". Yes, when they don't flow lubricously or fly boundlessly, they are not truly alive. This is the poetic truth.

Oh Yes ... artistic expression must remain free,
for that is when it is best. This poem is a
good example of true art.

Yep. You do what you do to it and it do what it do to you. Sometimes it writes itself or at least feels that way. Loved it, Jude. ;-)

A poem is much like a seed that has been delivered and within us will grow and flourish into whatever its DNA has planned for it. It trusts us to nurture it, feed it and allow it to grow into something of its own design. I loved this line: "I am just a transpose figment of its imagination" I believe that line says it all. Excellent poetry with strong images smooth flow and magnificent metaphor. It is poems like these that show your true talent, Robert. These types of offerings strongly state your position as an exceptional writer, leaving the rest of us to limp to the finish line behind you.

Take care,

Sherry

Yes, the poet writes, but the reader owns the poem. And I'm happy owning this one, Robert. Thanks, Henry

Juicy metaphor describing the act of creation. It is rather vampirish isn't it? Come to think of it, Bella was a thrill. Yes, the poem comes from another dimension. We're just the vehicle. Our juices flow, and oh does the poem love its wheels...

Good morning!! This is my kind of awakening!! The aromatic oil that deliciously runs all around body, mind and soul like some mystic, energy-releasing life force, Jude. Inspirational butterfly wings are pinned and coloured by every word and this beauty of a poem, as Eileen says, is almost like a formulation of your modus vivendi, I think. Effortless and fully comprehensive of all that poetic lubricous does and is with homo poeticus (as it were!), defining and creating him/her in the process. You describe a complete union that is, of course, very sexual and arousing; that is the very act of creation and recreation: the intangible and invisible taking shape. Reckon this must be PT at its best - and certainly one of yours: is you, in fact. Needless to say am keeping! :)) TY Kate xx

With this poem you have gone into another realm leaving
us lesser wanabes with our mouths agape. I believe
this poem certifies what you have always said, you are
a living poem! Now I have to wonder where you go from here.
This is a tour de force that will be hard to match! Bravo!
