"Undress an onion" - now there's a thought, George! Unclench a tightly-budded rose would be more like it, I think! Enough to rehydrate the most dessicated of Mummy's hearts... is Egypt too far?! On the other hand, perhaps "Home, James!" is the only place suitable for such intimacy; I think you've arrived there with this write, Jude! Can't get much closer than this!
