I wait for you ... show me the way

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wait for you
To materialize
And arise from the light
That has burrowed its way
Into the deep recesses of my heart and soul
I wait for you
To energize my sight
And stir my ambitions
And prevail over the inhibitions
Stifling our connection
I wait for you to inspire me again
So I can redecorate the path
Adorned with your mystery
And dismiss the persnickety
Of my intrinsic nature
For you have the power to mystify
And prevail
I wait for you
To come into this world
Into my world
Where the plethora my minimal successes
Has once again saddled me
With a ride into oblivion
You know, that familiar place
Where the art of motion
Desperately desires to reach out
And catapult you back
Into the stream of glorious beings
So I wait for you
To reach in and pull me out
To shout to me
Orders of development
And to show me the way
I no longer need to wait for you
Jude,
Somehow I was guided to this poem. Can your wait be over? Did she ever come to you? I wish that this one was written with a PompeiGoddess in mind, but looking at the date of this poem, no, I believe it was another love that you searched for...I hope she didn't break your beautiful heart, surely there are pieces still left for a Goddess to love.
Hope you are doing better, I really want to "see" you. Perhaps in my dreams this evening..
Much peace, light, and angel love,
Amber
Your ability to lull a readers senses with soft sounds, self pothos and the lift of lilt is exceptional, Robert. I always enjoy the innerness, not only of you but of me, of your poetry. There is no demanding of attention, no wagging fingers or intolerant frowns, you use soft, yet disturbing, affiliations or words which make a reader linger and ponder. And, you were extremely bold in evolving persnickety from an adjective into a noun. A necessary awareness when composing and crafting Poetry for major effect.
I wait for you
To come into this world
Into my world
Only this morning Robert, I found that the One I awaited will remain in soul..the waiting has ended... now I know I am alone..that too shall pass...but until then I await him in spirit
wherein we meld
and in one heart held...
So, dear friend,
perhaps your Beloved
is on another plane whispering..
calling to you again..
'Patience Beloved mine
for we soon ..
shall our hearts entwine.'
Chin up Robert..chin up!!!
saved this one..
superb..absoulutely magnificent!!
Dear Jude,
I wish so much that I could express as our Kate does when something moves me as much as this does. I often find that when a poem does touch me on a deeper level, I am not able to find the words to do it justice. All I can say in response to this is, thank you! You inspire me to reach higher.
I hope the one you are waiting for does materialize.
maybe she's just been waiting for you to figure out that you don't need her to show you the way. maybe you're on the verge of absolute glory and she's standing back, smiling at you taking flight. just a bit of speculation. fabulous poem, Jude.
I'm afraid I tend to put you on a pedistal. I really shouldn't do that because as this very vulnerable poem says, you need to be led also. None of us are anything without the Spirit. Wonderful write, Jude. Oh, as Kate, I am not getting notice of your postings either.
What a beautifully penned call on the Spirit of life, wisdom, and renewal, Shaman...flows with compelling rhythm, very moving. It could also be read as a call to a lover. Either way it's wonderful work. ~~Nordette
My, this is passionate, Jude. It is like a bolt between the eyes when you speak so directly, and straight from your heart and it is in this way that your Voice seems to have its full effect. This is so upfront and full of integrity - vulnerable, too, for a karapace! It is so encouraging to know that even the trailblazers among us desire to be led - either by inspiration or example - and I like the intrinsic humility that this would suggest, understanding that whatever our gifting it is something that is perhaps endowed to us and not ours by strength, might or right. A very wise and gracious perspective. But I think, as everyone else must surely do, that you hardly need to be shown the way when you are so much "naturally" the figurehead at the front - and when your own work has been so strong - and getting stronger - over the past few weeks and months, it seems to me. Still, all the great artists have crises of confidence on almost daily bases, I think. It's what keeps the feet firmly on the ground and the gifting centred and rooted. Sorry, don't know why I am rambling on as usual - have a train to catch this very (!)early morning, so I do hope that AT is going to "wait for me" in London today! BTW, is your tracker system working - I haven't had notification of your last couple of poems...? Keep on climbing the firey staircase, Indianna... it grows daily steadily taller, reaching into all the heavens you long for and will ultimately not fail you. TY, Jude, this is stunning. LOL Kate xx
It is all about a hand up, but not a hand out, Robert. The path is ours to follow and the best we can hope for from another is for them to hold the flashlight for us. This is a strong and centered write that leaves no need for speculation. It cuts right to the core and delivers its message with a powerful blast. This is a true "Jude" write; one to be consumed and then savored for a long period of time after absorbing it.
Take care,
Sherry
