Life is a journey nowhere
Life is a journey now here

We need not travel to, or move through,
Or sink into anything

We need not believe but know
That heaven is here now
Surrounding us

Invisible to the unseeing

It is the realization
That what we seek is already within us
Manifesting throughout the entire universe

And all we need to do
Is remember who we are
And who we are is everything
We can ever imagine

For imagination is the source of life
From which all creation resides

Knowing god by knowing ourselves:
A trinity of thought, motion and being

The substance between our synapses
Is the energy
Of everything being created

Allowing us to become what we already are
Allowing heaven to become what it already is

The union of divine observance

bravo, Sir Ace. why then, is it so difficult for most of humanity to act upon this wisdom...? are you, per chance, a Seth/Jane Roberts reader?

Now hear this, Jude has something to say. Not since John Lennon's Imagine has it been said so well.

Jude,

Your ending line says it all! This is such an inspiring piece, the key is remembrance! I really enjoyed this!

Ah yes, yes, yes!! The kingdom of heaven is within and without - closer than the shadow of your right hand. Yet there is still, I believe, another layer to go, another curve in the flight of the firey staircase upwards... "Ah! But a man's reach exceed his grasp or what's a heaven for?!" There is yet a divine union to be had that is more than an observance; it is entering into the Divine itself by partaking of His Spirit more and more, and becoming His and Him - like Jesus, who is fully man and fully God. Don't want to preach, just say that this IS divine and triggers in me the remembrance of the first in my Artist and Model series: "Beautiful"... that is what the Divine does in us, for us and with us. This is the Divine image in us and how He sees each one of us... Let it be!! BFN and have a good couple of weeks. LOL Kate xx Will send you a postcard! :))

"...is remember who we are..."

Ah, Jude, you make the profound accessible; wisdom drips from your pen... yet, it's there inside each of us. There are many things to learn while in the world, but what could be more rewarding than the inner journey. It's also the path to peace.

All we need do is open our senses to what we know to be true; your metaphysical poem captures this thought and allows us a community with the universe and with an audience of whomever we hold as our supreme being. Inclusive and thoughtful.

Wise and uplifting words Jude on what is a very sad day, what a shame there are those who believe death and destruction provides answers...when all it does is blind them to truth.

Your words are so true, Robert. We already know all of the answers and we are everything we ever wanted, dreamed or hoped to be. We are the universe and the universe is we. Perhaps perspective is the difficult equation in our comprehension of life. We are exactly where we are supposed to be, right now. Our only imperfection is in believing that we are less than perfect; our Creator made us with perfect hands, then he gave us free will. From that point on, we began to question all that we are and introduced doubt into our world. Excellent poem! You forced me to look above my own doubt and remember that all that comes from the Creator's vision is always perfection.
Take care,
Sherry

Now this one Sir Jude, is inspired by your Brother Creator, who has always enabled you to see through the firmament. When you write truth like this you transcend and transform. A flawless poem on the topic in my humble opinion. I applaud your wisdom and your spirit!

Bravo!
