OK! I feel the pulsation of hope!

I am beginning to cope
With the incongruities of human nature

And with the divine radiance
Of being born again into the creative overflow
Of designing thoughts and auspicious actions

Now is the time to rise
Into life’s forward motion
Even as undeniable misfortunes
Of humankind surround us

For faith and conviction
Of the grand design
Supersedes the tribulations of our planetary abode

I am not suggesting that my heart is not torn out
By the death and suffering
Of my brothers and sisters

Or that there is so much to learn and do

But I am assured
That we create our own reality

And so have the power to restore and redesign
Our intrinsic nature

And externalize the vastness
Inside every living being

And come together
Perhaps even in another time
