This does not hold true in your case Jude. So much of what you write reveals this. You write about the world around you but always in relation to your (or others)place in it. Your poetry provokes thoughts and evokes emotion. I loved this poem and the philosophical message within.

When the leaf of intuition fell on the prairie of knowledge,
revelation etched a picture in the mind of the Poet, and it was
depicted with:
Words from the lexicon of imagination
Inspired by a heart that pumps ichor;
Sublime poemization of life and dreams,
Devotion of an artist that praises science;
Observation of the eyes that smile to beauty;
Mind of a Titan that creates wonders.
"Seeds of Imagination" has paid its dues to Poetry's treasury,
added a page of enchantment to The American Fine Letters, and
gave a scented Flower to be placed in the VASE of The Major Art.
If we allow ourselves to touch the sky and kiss the rain, we will evolve into amazing spirits with a love for humanity and our environment that can change our world. The seeds of promise have been planted but we need to nurture them if we wish them to grow. We have been led to the path, but we must take the incentive to walk it and to take a few good friendly souls along with us. Wonderful poem, Jude. You create an excellent comfort zone for the reader with this one.

Ooooo... is Johnny Depp in here somewhere?! What beauty is this? I could stayed curled into this one all day, Jude, and I can hear it being read in the same tone of reverie that you did Potent Sleep. It is so gracious and yet has a tensile strength, like that of green shoots vibrantly peeking through bare earth. It reminds me of the translation of Amir Or's poem, "Some Say", that I did a while back, too.. in terms of its sentiments. Fabulous contrapuntal form and all-encompassing rainbow imagery, this speaks of wonderful enlightenment and purification. A Woodstock write! Soooo wish I'd been there. Like God and His vine, this has "husbandry" written all over it, in terms of its intentions and ability to nurture and grow. You gotta get out and read this one, Jude. You conjure here the type of Paradise I am sure we would all wish to combat the dangerous high-seas to discover! But my, you are producing your very best stuff lately, it seems to me... I have to keep rejuggling my top 5! I find myself lashed to the mast of this one... LOL Kiera Kate xx :))

this poem opens up like one of those high-speed movies of a flower blooming in the morning sun, and the feeling I get reading it (twice so far :)) is about the same. I like who you say we are! Dawn
