~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In my dream, I am looking down upon myself
Covered with white, yellow and red petals
The contours of my face
Reveal an inner tranquility:
Almost as if I were dead
Yet beaming
With the fragrance of the approaching dawn
Sent from the within womb of creation’s design
In an instant, I am looking through the petaloid
Configuration of passing memories
And I can see a montage of my life’s events
And I can feel the unknown wonder
Arising from within the colors of my dream’s emotion
It is here in this dream,
In this membrane
Where my soul rests,
Where I touch the deepest stars
And embody the growing matter of my being,
I rise from the foreign soil
Of all that I will ever become
marvelous and strangely coincidental...i woke up this morning and as i got out of bed my head was FILLED with memories, and the sense of doing it all over and over again....only the settings were different..and here i am in another age
This speaks so eloquently of birth and rebirth, creation and recreation. Excellent poetic expression, Jude. Keep touching those stars and resting in the expanding and many-colored skies, which surely are your home. Dawn
Well, this sure paints me rainbow as you fingerpaint your ways of tomorrow, leaving us breathless on the way! What a picture - reminds me of Anne Geddes "flower babies"! :)) Such innocence coupled with a spiritual maturity as the process of death and resurrection are together fully welcomed and embraced. Love the specificity of "this dream, this membrane", which somehow sets this apart from all the rest of your Dream Sequences as being the place, the dream, where your soul is in total equilibrium. Another "Paradise" write, harnessing spiritual transcendence with a sensual fecundity. This is fertile and vigorous, combining a sense of both male and female experience and aspiration. Communion of life's design indeed, and of Creator with Created. WTG, Jude! LOL K xx
Reminds me of the visions of the buffalo in Blackfeet lore, minus the black buffalo(rise of evil powers/plagues). These are my interpretations, of course. Red/war;sunset;bloodshed, Yellow/new dawn;intellect over brawn, White/peace;harmony;unification. Seems like your path is clear to you, Jude...
If the first impressions are the correct one's..
I'd say you crave a little food, feel a little crazed, but are touched by pure opulence.
Red...Hunger
Yellow....An aggrovation
White...Pure clean serene
;) Superb Write Jude
Oh so nostalgic but also a little on the melencholly side. Reads smooth though and touches the soul.
It is unusual for males to dream in colour. wonderful! and to remember! Red/Yellow/White are strongly connected with energy and Spiritual energies. A teacher no surprise :-) Wonderful that you are seeing/feeling movement and rebirth. Even better that you are smiling again :-) Thnaks for this uplifting sharing of your heart and soul.
To be reborn in a dream is a unique look into the tranquility of the soul at rest within the petals of a flower not yet born.
Very nice. This is where it all happens: And I can see a montage of my life’s events. What a beautiful way to remind us.
