Freedom's Heart

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are many crossroads to freedom
Freedom to explore the vast design
Of experience
Freedom to kiss expression’s face
Surrendering its lips
To observation’s tongue
Swapping reflection's spit
Freedom to investigate
The mysterious ways of creative articulation
Freedom to dismiss
Any of the conclusions appraised
Rejecting the manner words flow into form
And concepts come into being.
I lay my head on your lap
And whisper my desire to be free inside
The tireless embrace of your inquiring eyes
To caress the contours
Of your voluptuous spiritual essence
I’ll wait until you are ready
To accept or deny my proposal
And accept the freedom
Your heart decides to reveal
A freedom of the soul. Beautiful!
Conceptually masterful, masterfully symbolized. Expression waiting, on the lap of perception, for its fingertips to finally caress its brow... so that the lips of both will no longer hold the revelations of their heartbeats. A Poem to make one eagerly look forward to... the ensuing Poem that will be freed!
Jude, man this is one of the very best poems I have ever read!
It's filled with the spiritual essense of true sensual exchange and the gift it really is! In this you express the free acceptance with which you are celebrating this desired love in the true spirit of
non exceeding expectations ,....you are writing about love and making love at the same time.!
exceptional work here Jude!!!!!
And Sage definitely has a Enlightened spirit of goodness, power and
Love and all of what she says I consider!
peace and holy blessings to you',
Totally love Sage's comment - that lady rocks! So spot on in terms of concurring with my own thoughts and this is indeed like a mirror-write that delights in deflecting and bouncing around a delightful love-affair with language and conceptual thought, whilst at the same time recognising the limitations that both have to express the other. Well, that's my starting point, but this prism, as Aberjhani describes it, throws up so many other shades and nouances that I could easily launch off in 100 other directions...I won't, but the subject matter makes me hyper-volatile! :)) There is nothing like the freedom of intellectual thought and nothing like the power to dismiss its findings. I adore the turn, where it suddenly becomes more grounded in the personal, having enlarged our minds and thinking outwards, swapping universal freedoms for the intimacy of the testing of inter-personal boundaries, perhaps... something that is way more complex and tangible. The fascinating thing is that, in this close context, freedom becomes something that is subject to relativity, instead of being its own absolute; something that is subject to change and evolution, because it is dependent, like maintaining tension, on the maintenance of balance of certain forces, keeping that space wholly square. The heart is a free agent and cannot be jailed or tamed because it exists in truth; but it becomes subject to other controls by nature of it being housed within the human socio-dynamic. What is striking here is that the relationship of mutual possession and trust would appear already to be in place, so that you might well already know what the other's heart will decide. To have your head on someone's lap speaks of the intimacy of belonging - of giving and of being warmly received. Coming from my thoughts on Arcadia, this makes me think of warm pastorals and bacchanalia - of nymphs and shepherds! :)) And, on that happy note, think it must be time for me to find me own grassy bank to bed down for the night... Speechless, as usual. TY Kate xx
Freedom is a wonderful mistress that we should cherish with all our heart and worth pursuing and keeping it from the harm of mauraders.
A brilliant prism of metaphor and perspective shining a beautiful light upon the nature of choice. In this case, apparently, a choice of some serious romantic consequence:-)
Freedom is born in trust; that said, the possibility for freedom in a relationship is up to us, not them. If we trust in our worth and cast out our insecurities, we have nothing to fear in their freedom. If we believe in love, we have no reason to not experience our own freedom as well. It takes a strong person to trust love, both ours and theirs, but without it, no freedom exists for either person. Perhaps love and freedom are the same thing? Super poem, Jude. You Rock!!!!
Take care,
Sherry
A Looking-glass self. Freedom's Heart leaves itself wide open for interpretation, revelation, disclosure of mystery, truth, of love. Intended for spiritual aspirants who have a strong intellectual bent. Written by one who is by nature, philosophical. Ideas to him are of first importance, convincing me to be a thinker. Thanks Jude.
