Each time I walk through the fog
There’s no need to remember direction
The pulse of reason
Beats within everything
Each blade of grass, every granule of sand
Each and every thought and sensation
Angels of light
Form on the mist
I hear them
Speaking
As the roar of the tide
Is fondled by gravity
And the wind
Entertains the trees
Playfully bending branches
The world articulates itself
Through the natural soul
Of its benefactor
Even as it stutters
Through the haze
Of its own indifference
Each time I walk through the fog
Clarity nebulizes
The solidity of my thoughts
Making me flexible and porous
Like melted glass
Glowing from within
Its newly sculptured shape
Walking across the beach
The fog is lifting
And the sky is without limit
sometimes I believe that we are always walking in a fog, until somoene comes along, and gives us a kind or helping word,,or sometimes it's the little cafe having a cup of coffee and some strangerwalks in a gives you a smile, then all things don't seem so cloudy,,,I really liked the way how you were walking in a fog but as you get closer to the sea, you are correct, the sky is the limit,,and we can see the blue on most days when the fog has lifted,,a very inspiration,,that generates from one to another,,,thanks for sharing,,,
Sometimes it is the misinterpretation of clarity that becomes our blinding force; what we believe we see is not necessarily what we get. We see the budding rose, but fail to acknowledge the thorn. In becoming introspective and trusting what we know to be true, we learn that we have no problem finding our path amid the fog. Beautiful poetry, Jude.
Take care,
Sherry

Yes, dear Ace ... the fog is only momentary. Those who wait quietly and patiently (as you do, my friend) see the new horizon, without limit, once the sky is lifted.
By tapping the limitless power of the sky, all spiritual planes will be grounded by the fog to only refuel so that we can send you up again, Jude, you are without limit, the enthusiasm, the propellant power that will take you from lift-off into a steady, upward skylar surge!
Something like a small miracle the way your consciousness embraces and celebrates in WITHOUT LIMIT the numinous validity of what most would simply consider ordinary. A work of quiet joyful rapture.

These are masterful words. It's one of those you do best, allowing the reader to iterpret as they believe and see fit. Well worth keeping for re-reading! - Bill
This poem gives us a brief glimpse of the strong spiritual connection you have with the earth, the elements and the Gods of nature. Well written, brilliant clarity and a great capture.
Mm-mmm... how I love the mellow moods of the voice of "Jentle Jude"!! :)) ... and I have been meditating yesterday on MacNeice's "Snow", which is stuck up on my study wall and which has that same awe, expansiveness and one-ness of our physical and spiritual interaction with the world around us. Sights, senses and spiritual awareness are fizzing right at the tips of every hair and nerve-end here and the effect is totally melting and metagrobolisin (!!) ... I shall be but an amorphous liquid mass as I float my way back down to the Devon coast today... Like MacNeice, this is earthy and grounded as it lifts every facet of our life and planes of existance into limitless celestial heights. Fantastic flow and poetic rhythm: breathes as if it was an "inevitable utterance". Another new favourite of mine which soothes the soul like the burnin slide guitar on that old song "Easy Like A Sunday Morning"... and more satisfying than a late breakfast this is. Happy Holidays! :)) LOL K xx
