This is vintage, Jude, and, like a fine wine, would be worth waiting for; time bestows its grace and favour and you amply demonstrate that those words that endure are the ones most carefully chosen - and spoken: this is sooo mellow you just GOTTA recite it! :)) It's made for your voice. With shades and hues of other of your writes that I can think of, this brings the whole into perfect equilibrium, the culmination of a linguist's life and aspiration, basking in the reflected glory of what he has created. To truly live is to be perpetually inspired on all levels, and this is what you seem to speak of here: being drawn, enlightened, understood, complimented, fed, renewed, redirected, encouraged and ultimately loved. Biblically, the whole of life is initiated, called into being, sustained and upheld by Word. It is timeless and our collective eternal future. It's tantamount to watch words at play. I would love to make a word camp under the bough of a fig tree in the tropics and stare up at the night sky and silence the stars to what the shooting star is to the dark of the night with my words to keep us forever young, Jude!
