Happy birthday Jude!
(Just read Tinka's poem)
And I've been meaning to pop by and thank you for inspiring me with this poem ... (I wrote a little one and acknowledged you as the inspirator)
Love and blessings for every day!

One of my favourite quotations is:
'Sunshine after darkness, ecstasy out of pain. If never you've lost, what good is it to gain?'
This seems to encapsulate that ideal perfectly in a unique and original way. Brava!

My first poem up when I get back next week will be Not Without Beauty which reflects something of your sentiments here. Like spiritual breathing this is and a good detox for mind, body and soul. Cleansing and beautiful. And just had to sneak in to see what you had written last Saturday... !! :)) Last year here was all about sense and suggestion; this year is all manifestation and materialisation... very hot and very real, in other words... Hasta luego, Kate xx
Superbly and eloquently written, Dear Brother. There is so much truth in every line and so much opportunity to benefit in seeing the positive to everything.

Su~ch vivid truth in your words, Jude...it is amazing to me in my life how the best can come from the absolute worst if we allow the light to shine through the darkness and cling to hope. Hope means everything to me.

Yes, indeed, where there is hope there is . . . hope. Sometimes, however, hope is overshadowed by the hugs wings of despair, blotting out life-giving rays of hope.
This is a beautifully expressed truth. It is what I am feeling and experiencing right now. I am so glad I checked your site. I haven't been writing or checking the computer. But I've been having fun ;>) Thanks for this one, Jude.
A lovely melange of syllabic regular/irregularity, Robert.
Despair, or Hope, that is the ultimate question of life's equanimity...
Yours, in despaired hope,

So very true and so very much what I am surrounded by at the moment. I feel like I am on the edge of a coin, sliding one direction or the other depending on how I wake up :-).....and yet I laugh :-)
having seen evidence of just this sort of thing today, the truth of your poem strikes a chord deep within me. quite to the point and brimming full with wisdom, Jude.

As if the antithesis of what we hope is ensconced in the randomness of what occurs.
Jude ... you rock!
You have got to be old and despondent!

There are so many events happening simultaneously, at this very moment, that are anchored in these verses, Jude...
I have a new name for you [grin]...JUDE THE PROFOUND!
Which, is like the ALL-SEEING EYE, which I believe, is the gift of God in you, my dear Brother!
