~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Strange, how when consider giving yourself
An inner light comes into you
A moment of hesitation becomes you
The sky actually becomes discreet again
Yet the ground is still a jello- based trampoline
Conceived while bouncing in from another time zone
So it becomes the time to think things over
Your know, the usual plethora of surreal images
Passing though your mind
And that continuous spray of tinted glass
Splintering then slithering
Crumbling into a vortex of silly thoughts
And miraculously you realize
What you thought was your hard drive spooling
Is actually the clatter from a midnight shower
Above the canopy
Where Romeo and Juliet had once gathered
And Nero listened to Rome as it burned
And suddenly a serious memory of once again
Sends you into an unexpected direction
Of riding horses
This is good...
It certainly captures the moment and paints a lovely picture.
... I can hear their clattering hooves on the windowpanes even now! :)) Wonderful imagery which, though diverse and spinning outwards from the spooling chaos, sustains your thought process wonderfully. Fully sprung and elasticated, this Bouncy Castle of life is appreciated only by those whose childlike minds are prepared enough to strip their feet of adult shoes and socks and tread the dream of the previous realities of former "once agains".
A view of the liquid pony, ("And that continuous spray of tinted glass Splintering then slithering Crumbling into a vortex of silly thoughts") through the view of a magic kaleidoscope in a Shakespearean timewarp from the White Knight's balcony overlooking the Bronx, scanning modern-day Montagues and Capulets and hoofing the hemlock of the city, ("that continuous spray of tinted glass splintering")...captivating imagery of another time and another place, Jude...
Interesting the leap between love and horses, freedom is defined by the wild horse as Ch'erie suggests and you captured those thoughts driftin through your mind so well.
Robert ...
There is always more to what we experience than the corporeal extrapolations of such. In my perspective ... you paint a subtle picture here of differing realities brought about by the objective and subjective view of the reality.
A sobering thought process, wonderfully executed.
Light and wisdom ...
