... Sounds like the lines are operating both ways, if your "other" here has first requested the information to start with, so what would therefore be the "intrusion"? Love the tantalising ambiguity of the final couplet... no one "listening/receiving" or no one transmitting anything "real" in the first instance? Makes me think of the kids hand game, Scissors Paper Stone, wondering which way round the circle the minds will work. I like the eagerness coupled with ambivalence here, too... and quiet persistence - repetition of Would you? Shows both boldness and restraint. In short, a nice bit of thrust and parry between sparring partners! :)) Love it! K xx
