Great visual. I can picture it in my head.

Beautifully tactile with all the moulding and shaping going on of the light that seems to stream in straight shafts from the inner core of the subject, and yet be sensuously bent and woven in the hands of the sculptor. Fabulous inter-relationship portrayed, and although the tone you seem to use has edge and definition (like the prismatic light sourced from the essence of being of the material or subject), it is smoothed and softened, shaped by master strokes. I like the implication that it is perhaps the artist who kindles the purity of the subject's own self-confidence and self-awareness. You have a gift of arousing images and moods of intense and sinuous sensuality which stems from the essence of being, lending grace, beauty and elegance to the natural physical form. This write is both hot and cool, making me think of materials that are both warm, like wood, and cold, like stone. I like the sense that harshness of line and light are moulded into softness of shade and curves in the master's hands. A wonderful capture and portraiture of both the creator and the created and their natural and intuitive synthesis. TY Kate xx
