... Looking at this from the Dark Side of the Moon... which I always do... I would say that ANYTHING would appear bitter to the taste and cloying to the emotional appetite when you have been engaging with angels in an atmosphere of rarified thought, or supping on ambrosial nectar... But that's just me being fanciful. The only way to remain free of the poison is to divine your own purified source and to drink from your own crystal fountain, Senor... But there is also something very heroic about this write, like the risk is there to be taken anyways. And who wants Heaven on a plate? The boxing and coxing of the journey is so much more fun, making of Heaven a fitting reward. Travel safely, Kartero... don't pick up a snake to smite the rock unless you hear a Good Voice telling you to! :))
