... Makes me hold my breath with the suspense of it all. Totally electrifying in its intensity. Another thriller of a write. Like blood pounding in the temples and the roar of silence that is a waterfall in the brain... eddying out into the quiet calm of the pool at the end, the blissful cocoon of sheltered thoughts, the stillpoint at the epicentre of emotional tension - like the image which your lines 7 and 8 conjure, that of the wings of a butterfly opening up from hibernation.
My cinematic mind especially loves lines 9, 10. Makes me think of screenplays where the two main protagonists are moving entirely in different circles, yet inextricably linked and drawn by the centre-stage theatre of life playing out their lives. They only meet and recognise their mutual "otherness" at the end, when they return to the empty platform for the final unveiling which brings their story's resolution. Then the curtain drops et voila! Contented sighs all round... :))
Jude,
I am sensing you as I write this review..I know how you feel, You have written a mysterious love poem, but to me I know what you are saying here, I can definitely feel your inner spirit.
Much Peace, Love, and Light,
Amber "V"
There is a mysterious quality to this beautiful poem, Jude, just as there is in the most successful and intriguing relationships of the heart. The world becomes a misty fog and the only light in the universe shines upon just those two. This is the epitome of all desires and the most elusive of all realities.
Take care,
Sherry

There is nothing like the silence of two hearts in unison and being surrounded by that special someones thoughts this scenario is to die for...beautifully said Jude...
I had the feeling of being in an empty theatre as I read this...filled with a calmness of being in love. Your writes always evoke such a visual and emotional sense...Enjoyed
