Excellent tribute to both love and spirituality, and a tribute to the presence that renews the world and makes us see life fresh again. Especially liked the ending lines:
And nothing matters anymore
But keeping you constant and vital
To hold onto your breeze forever
It's been so long since I left you a review, can I still do it and make it good? Well here goes...in totality this poetry reminds me of a Creation Story as a cosmic event of a Native American journey in many different tribes' narratives.
In Apache accounts, Black Wind made earth, Yellow Wind gave it light. To the North American Indians, the Salish-speaking ones, they relate to a great spirit, the Old One, where the earth was made from a woman - trees, grass are her hair, soil is her flesh, rocks her bones, and wind (Breeze)her breath. This poem is an enduring mark in which you have vividly remembered in etched images eroded from wind and water, bringing them to life on their journey to their place of origin...you be knowin' where that is Jude...Happy Holidays to you and your family...Blessed Be.
A most enjoyable read, Jude...you tend to bring out the emotions of many from deep within the mind of thoughts....when one can find that depth such as yours they will surely be as the breeze you write of...enveloped in the very essence of poetic jpy and love...
... Holding on. That's nice. The beautiful thing about receiving the touch of love upon your soul is that it immediately causes the essence to flower and to desire to give reciprocally, as in the "keeping you constant and vital". True love is therefore both self-satisfying and self-sacrificing. When it becomes the empowering force then vision is always focussed and far-seeing. This reminds me of the "vital elan" which Felix spoke of in a review recently - that creative force which is responsible for metamorphosis and growth. This is a most beautiful picture of what pure love is destined to achieve in each one of us. Massaging the other's vital statistics in order to maintain and enlarge them can only be good! :)) Love the hallowed, hushed tone to this one... notwithstanding all the crap. Watch out for that seagull! Ooops.. too late... K xx
So very beautiful! A quiet walk along the shoreline is one that always allows the mind to relax and open up. One of my favorite pass times, no matter what the season. You have captured the essence of love and wonder beautifully....
Jude it is amazing how you, like myself, seem to find the communion of love just by walking ont the shore of a beach. I often wonder if it is the energy of so many others all around the world who do the same, transversing the seas to join with our own energy. Enjoyed this write for sure Jude.
Jude this is a deeply touching poem, one of your best, but I am a romance writer primarily so I enjoy reading the more tender side of you. Lovely poem. Gentle as a breeze.
Jude, you actually sound and feel lighter to me. Beautiful poem of light and love with much peace thrown in there. I love this poem and please write more!
Peace, Love, and Light,

Thoughts change our world as quickly as the thought of your beloved elevated yours that moment...
Such a blessing to wish to keep your love 'constant and vital'.
:-D
Jude, It is so great to feel the breeze, but it has been a long time since I wandered along the shore with my great grandpa. He used to say: "Did you feel this one?", meaning the wonderful breeze. Since then I realized the beauty of the feelings the breeze can awake in us.
Thank for this poem. Emile
I've stood on that same beach before, feeling that same breeze within, knowing I craved for more...Must a been a hot day! huh?

Even the seagulls pay me no mind
Even the waves are dull and unresponsive
