~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
beyond is a window
gazing past your pain
is a portal to an untouchable
crown of growing flames
as shadows greet the morning
with broken syllables and transparent names
you close the jaded curtains
letting dreams’ fire engulfs your brains
This is silica based poetry, (limestone poet) an ingredient in glass-blowing...to heat a mixture of sand and lime...to blow it all away and mold it into a vessel, transcending dreams into bottles much more containable than humans...beyond is a window, indeed Jude...
Sage
There are many windows in life and you've put words to a special window in your awareness--beyond the pain. Interesting write.
Well Jude, I see you were visiting Jersey Ed's dwellings...that smoke can twist any brin into a pretzel...but please, don't lean too far out of that window and get a bump in your head and...write more?
Gazing, as though reaching out to the heavens for answers sought to sooth your soul and ease your pain. I hope you are okay....
So haunting makes me want to drift your way, walk up to your dirty window, take my t-shirt and with a circle wipe a corner, peak in past the faded curtains and impart a mischevious smile.....Well Done! Deborah
