~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
(not one of my more typical days)
the fleeting drip of morning dew
quickly returns to the cosmos,
before I have the chance to touch
the sparkling consistency of sun-lit flora,
exhaling its exuberance
the sky is silent, and dry of motion
until a squadron of crafty aircraft
escort flying dolphins through the horizon,
to the periphery of unknown locations-
a lighthouse speaks to a tumultuous sea
where angels gather, resembling stealth crusaders
on special tours of duty-
the dolphins turn back to earth,
the eleven gates almost open,
mars soon the closest it has ever been.
Celestial. . . . .
Must usual.
The twelve gate will burst first
The sea will receive a curse
It's got to get better
It can't get much worse.
I know nothing of this prophesy Richard writes of. Since when does Mars have any effect on Earth except in fantasy.
Nice write, though.
Oooo...I like the sci-fi and ethereal vibe to this poem, Jude. All is a great mystery. Here's a thought for you: If humans weren't alive to be aware of the universe, would the universe still exist?
Be well!
Good thoughts Jude. And I am really looking forward to that event. I just finished a fascinating book entitled "Catastrophism in the Old Testament" Several chapters were devoted to the different geo-synchronous orbit Mars had with the Earth back then and the effects it had on earth and on Mars. Apparently many Roman cities were built as much as 200 miles inland up the river to avoid being devastated by the enormous tidal surges and tides that the flyby created. There was much more of course, but I don't want to belabor it in this note. The upcoming planetary spectacular on 12/21/2012 should be something else.
Jude, I was touched by the lines:
"a lighthouse speaks to a tumultuous sea
where angels gather, resembling stealth crusaders
on special tours of duty"
I feel always that I have angels and a spirit guide that protects me.
These words ring true to my soul. You are a most unique and inspiring poet.
Much peace, light and love,
Amber "V"
Very unusual and graphic imagery, Jude. I'm reminded of the dolphins all leaving earth, at the beginning of the movie, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Universe. Very nice!
Conflict, be it emotional or physical, is often a sign that change or choice is upon us. You mix the height of spirituality with life's stark reality in your verses, as we each stand upon the fence trying to decide which side has the most to offer us. For some reason, your words brought to mind these lines from the song Woodstock.
"And I dreamed I saw the bombers death planes
Riding shotgun in the sky
Turning into butterflies
Above the nation." ~Joni Mitchell
This is kind of a moody offering from you, Jude, but still one that leaves the reader with much to ponder.
Take care,
Sherry
Poseidon will be frowned upon your cheeky attitude at grabbing two of his dolphins but Erato will intercede in your behalf, and that's not a prophesy but a fact!
Now, shouldn't you explain about Jude's bluish kind of mode?
OOOOOOOOOOOOoooo.... NOW I'm awake... could "see" this as if through my own eyes, the juxtaposition of the real and surreal as depicted by the steely aircraft accompanying clouds and glint of early morning sun on waves...
I've freely lifted from Wikipedia here, and others will make of this what they will. However, to me it's thus obvious what this is possibly about:
Astrological meaning of the Age of Aquarius
Ages are believed by some astrologers to affect mankind while other astrologers believe the ages correlate to the rise and fall of mighty civilizations and cultural tendencies. Aquarius traditionally "rules" electricity, computers, flight, democracy, freedom, humanitarianism, idealists, modernization, rebels and rebellion, mental diseases, nervous disorders, and astrology.[4] Other keywords and ideas believed associated with Aquarius are nonconformity, philanthropy, veracity, perseverance, mankind and irresolution.[5] The appearance or elevation in status of many of these Aquarian developments over the last few centuries is considered by many astrologers to indicate the proximity of the Aquarian age. There is no uniform agreement about the relationship of these recent Aquarian developments and the Age of Aquarius. Some astrologers believe that the influence of a new age is experienced before it arrives because of a cuspal effect or Orb of Influence. Other astrologers believe the appearance of Aquarian developments indicate the actual arrival of the Age of Aquarius.
... Personally, methinks we are on the cusp, hence you noting this in the freshness of early morning, the "new dawning".
Love the way you just offer this without personal intervention or comment. It's pure and unadulterated that way to sit simply and as however one might choose to read it. As for me, think I need another lie down to get over the excitement...!! Kosmos Kate xx
A near miss? Crossing Over? Heaven can't claim you yet in this lifetime, Jude! It had you already. Centuries of conflict - gold dust is used to maintain the atmosphere of Nibiru and fill the holes in its atmosphere that were caused by atomic missiles fired at it during the last Great Galactic War in which it was involved and seriously crippled. The gold repels radiation from space and keeps the people inside the ship from dying.
The biosphere of Mars and Venus were also destroyed along with their colonies leaving both planets a wasteland. In ancient times Nibiru was symbolized as the eight-pointed star mostly due to its brightness. The Egyptians called it “the bright star of the crossing”.
The Nommos, Dolphin and Whale People, are a race of Beings that takes the physical forms of dolphins, whales, mermaids/mermen. Their home world is a planet in the Sirius star system that is mostly warm aqua-blue water. Many of the Nommos walk upright. They are known for their highly advanced used of sound.
The Nommos play an important role in earth’s evolution. Right now they are the guardians and guides of the portion of Etheric Sirians who are in dolphin, whale, and mermaid/merman bodies in order to maintain the biosphere of earth.
The Etheric Sirians are the soul group that were given earth as their new home when their former home, Sirius B, imploded.
When Earth ascends the Etheric Sirians will take over as guardians of their planet. Those in aquatic form will have the choice to change form and take on a human body, walking the earth as a land guardian. Many of the Etheric Sirians in aquatic forms are making this choice now and, therefore, are beaching themselves. They are returning to the Nommos home world for training on being in a human body so that they can return to earth as land guardians.
Those who are of the Etheric Sirian soul group are usually very drawn to the whales and dolphins. They also can be found in organizations and groups whose focus is healing the earth and conserving her resources.
The majority of Etheric Sirians are found among the black, red and brown races of Earth...prophecy indeed...
