mayhem virus
sent via dreams of corrupted gods
bleeding vexatious visions into gullible beings

spreading the wildfire of negative doctrine
through membranes and synapses of a lost civilization

colliding with polluted galaxies
and wormholes
throbbing with the sting of an empty existence

a disease of fear and dread

an illness of distrust and doubt
implemented by power mongers in universal garb,
sent through an army of spiritual deserters

a syndrome of false prophets
spreading symptoms of supernal psychobabble
into the veins and brains
of the infected

the perishing distortion of their dying dust
remains too dull for me to openly approach

"spreading the wildfire of negative doctrine
through membranes and synapses of a lost civilization"

Pretty much sums up our post-modern world of the material minded and its attendant lunacy.

Well said!

Spielberg or Bruckheimer would have a field day with this one, Jude. A fascinating escalation of pandemic in your vivid and colourful imagery, preying on our mortal vulnerabilities and weaknesses. A very clever poetic device, using "virus", since we have no defence against its virulent strains either in our bodies or in our computer-dependent societies. The whole of life will crumble should such as this take hold. And there is such energy and discharge throughout the course of the poem that the "flat-note" of the final line comes as quite a surprise... "dull"????!!!! The coolness and perceived apathy is also as shocking in statement as the aforegoing sickness and malaise... perhaps pointing up what, in fact, is our greatest threat of all: total inertia disempowering our motivation to act premeditatively or preventatively. Has all the depth and lavish gore of a work by Goya and permeates like wild-fire the labyrinths of the mind and senses. Strong voicing here. xx

I have read this three times, and have mixed feelings. I agree with what you have written, that's for sure. Then I went down and read some of the comments, as I love to see other people's reactions to your poetry, and I began to formulate a channeling of some sort...I channeled a man starting a revolution of hundreds and quickly turning into millions. Perhaps the Beatles "Revolution" planted some seeds in our brains way back in our youth. Some how, some where, we will rise and make this world a better place to live, if that is the plan.
Much peace, love, and light,
Amber "V"

I wish you'd email this to all the TV news channels, so the politicians and newsmen who discuss this stuff on the Sunday shows on all cable channels, can see in themselves that they are part of the problem, not the solution the way they behave, in the public/s eyes!

Fantastic work,Jude!

Demon seeds spawn Demon deeds...Karma cruises...mental illness keeps up its pretense in a syndrome of false prophets spreading the dreadful disease of corrupt religion, plaguing society. What can we do to stop it? Blow the whistle and expose dirty deeds and let Karma shave off their beards, those who so want to be Jesus...listen to someone when they tell you their gut works like GPS telling them something is corrupt on their radar...intuition is the cure...

Sherry Heim has said it all. I refer all to the articles of Sha'tara, an acquaintance of Regis Auffray's, posted on the Auffray site. Pick and choose. Read between lines if needed. Pay special attention to parts about self-empowerment. Groups are groups. You can see power, possession, and devolution very often in the most infamous grouping of two: marriage, the Institution. If two empowered can come together, without dependency, that is good, almost unattainable. Then one can have a spark for three adults or more.

kinda like weather...low pressure moves onto/into high pressure...voila either a storm mass or a stagnation, but like the weather it passes :) fyi...its always easier to flow with the high pressure, than to fall prey to the lower density where caos dwells...

in my estimation, you pretty much sum up all governments and radical factions of religion here brother. Indeed it is a "disease of fear and dread" that undermines the honor that few can find anymore. A kick in the balls this one!

A shot of the swine flu vaccine will clear all this up I'm sure.
You did pack a lot of different meat into these sausages, hanging there like a string of extrapolated pearls on a pure white tiled background. The aroma is indeed somewhat aching to Icke, the Illuminati, flying saucers, and the local herd grazing this planet. We must have either by accident or design evolved somewhat, for had you said such things only a wee while back, a burning at the stake made have heated this debate, ha, as usual Jude, you said much, with great artistry. I learned of a rule that I have since applied successfully to many political scenarios -- when political moves make absolutely no sense and appear to be positively without basis, follow the money trail -- because in the end, it is all about the money and absolute power -- right and wrong matter not to the politicos of the world, only money and consequently, power -- thanks Jude for the stimulating write -- peace and love my friend -- Jon Michael

Your poem delivers in a way that might make us believe that we humans are just coming into this state of chaos. You let us off the hook a bit, Jude. The truth is that what we are victims of, is our own ignorance and laziness. We take no action to make our world a different place, relying on corrupt leaders to handle that for us, over and over again, expecting a different result. We seem to be as foolish as the people have been through the ages, but now we are educated fools. The only way to create change is to do it on an individual level joined by millions of others working toward change on an individual level. Very meaty poem, Jude. Lots to digest here.
Take care,
Sherry

The complexities of the world especially when it comes to politics and ruling agendas is often above mere mortal man and when a plot is in the making we all too often do not see it until it has gone past the point of stoppage. Defiantely a thought engaging read Jude.

This poem reminds me of a certain theory about how our world is influenced. A theory which purports that the elite bloodlines to which almost all world leaders can be traced, are made up of a certain genetic sequence (which is why they always interbreed), which allows them to correspond with entities just outside the realm of visual light. These "entities" use the elite families as vehicles to exert control and steer humanity in a preferred direction, kind of like herding cattle, only more sophisticated. Of course, they employ all manner of social engineering and technology to do so. This also corresponds with the theory that humans were genetically engineered by outside intelligent beings who came here from other galaxies and still exert tremendous influence on us by manipulating the world into a false sense of reality, keeping us in "body and mind", i.e. what we can feel, taste, touch, etc. as opposed to letting us expand our consciousness (which is collective and universal). This poem digs up a lot of material for all-night lively discussions for sure. I won't go into details. Take care. Love this one, by the way. Check out movie The Fourth Kind, if you haven't already done so. Just came out last week. It touches on some of this. Annunaki, ancient Sumerian texts relating to alien intervention upon humans, etc. Take care.
