I am ball-challenged. What should I do???

I am afraid most of my life, always worried that "he" will find me.
I ran from a very bad situation, and now I live with the fear that resulted from that relationship. Day by day, it gets better.

I don't agree with the part about cancer patients,because i know too many that have fought to the end and did everything right,and died...we all die in the end...but everythingelse is onthe mark and needs to shouted out, and i agree 100% wiht your message,,fear is taking over....nice work

Jude, I have always believed in this philosphy, it is what makes my journey so steadfast. Anyone can reject fear and embrace love.
I say this from the bottom of my heart, "You are an amazing person, writer and leader". Don't let anything/anyone grab you by the balls, unless you want them to..lol :) !!!!!

:))) Yes, indeedy, you are not wrong! Acutely and astutely written, Kartero. Makes me ponder a few things about the nature of fear: is it an emotion or a spirit that plays, in the main, upon our emotions? To my way of thinkin, hate is not the opposite of love: it is actually love in inverse or reverse; the other side of the same coin, a part of the same spectrum. Perhaps fear is more the opposite of love? The Bible states that perfect love casts out fear and I do think that overwhelming love can make us big and bold and feeling like we possess superhuman powers sometimes. Love is also a spirit and cannot be logically explained, just as fear can't.

Anyway, I'm probably thinkin along the lines of my own wee write this evening: that what we truly believe, we will act on. And the world at large with all it's neuroses is just a conglomeration of individuals all acting out what they truly believe... Just goes to show, bottom line is there's just too little love around...!! We could all do with some new-roses instead! :))

Trust me to take the left-handed view, but tis my wont... or my will: never sure which is which! xx

A kick in the balls insight. Fear is an insidious pied piper. there is not one conversation I've had with anyone this year that did not touch on some aspect of personal fears. You see clearly the need for something much stronger than fear to give it its eviction notice.

YES!!!!!!!!!! Love the transition into philosophy/ poetry. I once heard that fear is simply the absence of faith. If one is in fear, he or she has no faith. Conversely, if one has faith, it occupies the vacuum once dominated by fear. Fear may indeed be lurking, somewhere; but the faith (conduit- grabbing by the balls) is the creative energy which swings events the other way in a positive direction. And we know, from physics, that no two objects can occupy the same space at the same time. Brilliant. Great work!!!!

Bravery is facing that which most frightens us. The problems that we face today are often caused by the fact that we trust others to make our decisions for us and too often believe that they know better than we do what is in our best interest. Giving up control of our destiny will always result in disappointment and in a feeling of helplessness. It seems to be human nature to bite the hand that feeds us and perhaps that is because we really do understand that it is our own responsibility to feed our selves. Lots to gnaw upon in this one, Jude. Nice job and presented in a most timely manner.

You have the solution in sight, Jude. As we speak the world is about ready to self destruct. It is unbelievable the rage which survives with only a tiny flame as its center. The smarter we get, the dumber we are. Good poem, man.
