the world is draining me –
i’m sick of the madmen and fools running
earth’s countries.
i’m fed up with the constant threat of war
and annihilation.
the greed, the fear, the wealth, and poverty
disgust me.
the collective dream is extremely
disheartening,
though the universal imagination is always awake.
don’t get me wrong, i realize beauty
and positivity abound.
i know we are evolving, even if so slowly:
technology and science have excelled beyond
reason and expectation,
altruism and charity are spreading
exponentially,
still an overwhelming sense of doom
steers my conations;
even though a preamble of redemption lurks
around the corner.
perhaps a quantum particle of peace
and spiritual acceleration
are shedding their cocoon, to birth
a butterfly of new dreams.
i just wish I didn’t feel so tired,
sometimes exhausted,
when my energy is bursting from the seams …

Jude, you speak my life! Need I say more?

i'm right there with you. we're probably standing before the most crucial juncture in earth's history for at least the last 500 years. the economic system is threatening to completely collapse and the end-game is neo-feudalism and total bondage. at the same time, you have this massive ground-swell of free humanity awakening to the tyranny and beginning to fight back. normally throughout history, these types of world-dominating conspiracies have always failed. the elites of the planet now feel confident enough in their science, technology and levers of control to make a move on total domination. it will probably end badly for them, as it usually does. question is, how much pain and suffering must we endure until the final breakthrough arrives. only time will tell. until then, we keep writing and warning and shouting. nice work man, stay strong, chin up, history is on our side.

... it is indeed this perception that births hope daily in each one of us, keeping us alive, Jude. In a way, it operates on the same principles as homeopathic medicines, perhaps: its little quantum particle "infecting" the whole being until it bursts forth into the bloodstream of the collective dream, stirring all us free radicals into action! :))

Sickness takes its toll - especially lung sickness, I've found. When our little breathing sacs fill up with junk instead of air, they weigh us body and spirit down like lead weights. And yes, we can feel like we're drowning. Glad to read that you have now found some inflationary tactics! Be well, darlin. xx

I'm with you on the human condition. But, if history tells us anything, we are getting better all the time, throwing off the myth that binds us, and coming to grips with our stupidity. If we don't screw up, by the end of this century, we can look to the stars.

This gives so much hope to the reader. The state of our world has a direct effect on the state of the poet who must constantly create words for a better tomorrow. "When my energy is bursting from the seams," it is recording a blueprint to be left in Akashic Record with your name on it. A new millenium of "hosts" will be looking at that, Jude...and you're up there with the brightest. Starshine and heartlight, can't get much better than that.

Love,
Sage

Very good and so true, Jude. Reading this piece caused the life to be sucked out of me. Only an astonishing write can evoke so much emotion. Surely the end is near. But the world has been a mess for what seems like so long.

Gosh I hear so many time all the negative thoughts people have about the world we live in. It's hard not to crumble into the gloom. I don't know who will win in the end, the light or the dark, yet I still believe it is as it was meant to be. Our lessons are amongst the stories. Good write and food for thought

very true Jude, the crush of the worlds attitude can suck our energy away like a giant vacuum! That's why we must stay in the spirit! You sure know how to get the message out;-)! Intense poem!

I am with you on this Jude as the world is so full og greed and hate. We only have so long to enjoy life and to know so many can crucify it in so many ways.

Life will always be as we preceive it to be, Jude. All that whirls around us can only touch us if we allow it to. Live life in the glow of perfect light and move forward on your journey to make this a better place and a happier life. It is only through this energy that we will ever see change, even if it is only in our selves. A defeated person or victim has no power at all. Your eyes are certainly wide open, Jude, but your focus is being led astray by the force-feeding of doom that is so trumped up by the media and by governments. Excellent penning, all the same.
Take care,
Sherry

There's the day to day tired, the all around tired. and then that moment you realize your awake without the alarm clock. Those day's are keepers. ~ Morgan

Jude, you caught the world in the pain of leaving a cocoon, change is coming, terrible pain for a new start, but you see the new light through the first cracks, it applies as well to you and us sometimes, you are seeing the new beautiful butterflies, hope, springs of new fountains, new life. Yes, I agree with Linda!

I fight this feeling of "exhaustion" that you write about everyday. Certain people, like you and me, are sensitive souls. We must remain on the positive side, not allowing negativity to overtake us, and drain us. That is the exhaustion that so many feel, the negativity that filters into their beings. It wraps around the soul and squeezes so tight that is drains all energies..

A person like yourself, an amazing poetic mind, cannot afford to let this exhaustion stay within...You need to squeeze it out, and not allow it to penetrate your veil. Keep that protective veil all around you, and repel all negative people or thoughts from entering into your being.

I like the idea of recharging, because as you state your energy is bursting from the seams..So you are alive in there, now go let some of that energy out, find a place to let off steam, meditate and make some one feel your pent up energy on a positive note! :)

Breath, expel all negativity and live, Jude!

Peace, love and light,

Amber

feeling the resonance of this vibe, jude. my, oh my, how i do

relate. time for a lengthly disconnect to recharge thy weary spirit?

just stop listening to the world's noise for a spell (hard to do)

and instead bask in simple eloquence of nature's profound beauty-- a warm, sandy beach on a remote island, perhaps...? there is a reason why ancient wise ones sought the certain comfort of solitude and isolation. give that bursting energy of yours the fresh take it deserves to help alter the negative course of our currently disheartening collective dream. your amazingly creative gifts are to be treasured and nurtured, master poet!

peace & blessings,

You express well what we all feel from time to time. I guess what the trick is to step back out of the world for a moment and then peak back in. You may still see the negative but just perhaps you will see all the positives as well.

God, Jude, how you connect with these words, mantra and anthem, they sing to me. I wish in a way they didn't, that they didn't have to, but they have to and they do.
Yes, there is some light, some little light left somewhere...finding it...there's the rub.
