I've been away to long, awesome, sometimes when we listen to dreams, it's the only way to make them come true, but sometimes, dreams are just that, dreams, but they do keep us going with a goal in mind.
Beautiful tone and voicing in this... reminds me muchly of your "old" poem, Potent Sleep, in that respect. As others have commented, this seems to dwell on the instinctual and intuited and, coming at this backwards from invisible plot, I can see the correlation of thought. There is that place of knowing, isn't there, that we don't know that we know about until something, someone puts a revelatory finger on it?! Then we realise that we have foreknown it and experienced it in some way sometime before - or will do: time in the present continuum. Interesting use of the word "covert"; in the same way that birds are meant to be flushed from cover, so invisible plots and plans are there in plain sight if you have eyes to see them: things "always known but never imagined" are the sudden parting of the branches; paranormal peek-a-boo! :)) Love it. xx

Jude, The brain, right and left...dance
Always,

jude this is an age phenomenon -- research now shows that as we age we have learned to employ both hemispheres to think through and reason with greater possibilities and consume less time to accomplish the process than when were young -- so you will continue to imagine what you only previously knew -- I bid you joy, peace and love my dear friend. Great, Jude. A lot of fine poetry packed into these six lines.

this is a very interesting poem and the ending really hits upon some of the things i've been learning of lately regarding left-brain, right-brain interaction, whereby the right brain, where we cleary do not spend enough of our time, is that hemisphere responsible for intuition, all-consciousness, that part part which is tied into the infinite, all-knowing aspect of the universe. the left brain, practical, absolute, black and white, is quite mystified indeed, never having imagined the doorways to which its other half is privy. great little piece!!!!
The dance of life and love. It makes me think of the song The Dance by Garth Brooks...so sadly beautiful in all it's melodies.
Your poem, makes my heart soar and makes me want to dance. Listen to your dreams, Jude, it is your inner being trying desperately to guide you toward contentment...dance on, my sweet friend, and dream on, now Aerosmith is in my brain.
Questions, unquestioned discoveries, and answers in parable and rhyme…. This collection records a journey starting with a 1960s retrospective and the first man on the moon, moving to a new millennium welcomed in with a terrorist spin, family crises,
