~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
   a cold chill
                     filled the room
            as the sun
                      once again left us to dream
    I stroked
              the nippiness
        of your body against mine,
                                slowly heating up my throttle
                    your heart synchronized
                                to the throbbing booster
   inside the ribs of my chest
                    we sat and watched the moon
                         leisurely parade
across the night sky,
           through stained-glass windows of our minds
    setting the mood of our journey,
                  softly landing on the surface of our souls
I must say, the fireplace
           added to the ambiance
              of shadows dancing upon the wall
           and the moonbeams sure helped
          to cast a glow upon our blending form
                              on a mission
                    we almost took forever to complete,
        with all the fuel
 we'd ever need
         and all the space we'd ever require
everyone's so enraptured... so understandably enraptured by this technological marvel... you set the mood, I'll provide the groans... you're not just fueling around with this one, my friend! haha... as always, a sheer pleasure to read your contributions.
ohhhhhhhyeaaaaaaaah... Thunderbirds are DEFINITELY go in this one, Parker!! Pour the pink champagne and don that perky peaked cap you look just so cute in: bio pic is 2006 / 2007 I'd say at a guess? :)) LOL! Sounds like your New Year's Eve was similar to mine: the fireplace was marble, right, and there was a bowl of fruit nearby?! And Seth and Maggie are in there somewhere, I'm sure. Your old poem, Fertile Surface, is beautifully brought to life by these renewed sentiments - which was bound to happen "when the time is right": Viola's a very lucky gal! :)) Your Opus of works is something to behold and experience, Amigo, and will almost certainly take forever to complete with always more than enough burning passion to keep it fuelled. Had to read "I stroked the nippiness of your body" a few times before I read it right... well, at least that's my excuse! So glad that I'm in Houston tonight to be able to share the experience... no wonder the price of oil is rocketing... :)) xx
Excellent job at blending that mental space with the physical melding it imparts. Nice flow and definition in this offering, Jude.
Man, this is perfect. Every line revealing of the one before it their duties to the reader, and letting go of its message to the next line and so on and so on. Perfect I say, all the way through. Stand. Take a bow. Clap.Clap.
Liftoff into another space and time, a journey of two souls destined to be one. The journey, the ride the climax, all fueled by a power so strong that the Universe had to brace itself. This is freakin awesome poetry, Jude at his best, on the top of his game..amazing dearest poet, simply amazing work. Bravo, I applaud your final lift off and hope you never come back to Earth, stay in Nirvana, it's amazing isn't it........
Much peace, light and love,
Amber
