~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
           springs denying coiling
        lights declining to shine
          songs swallowing sound
             dreams refusing to fly
           eyes blinded by sight
         voices scribbled by light
        words written within liquid sands
     music composed without any hands
    reading parchments of neuron scrolls
       searching for their hidden souls
its seems despite itself....or wherever it was dropped here.....your soul can hide.....but not really....its kinda out doing its own thing showing up in an art form....in nature.....well something like that.......very very cool poem. ~ Morgan
Don't we all do that Jude, search for our hidden souls? A poem worth reading and thoughts worth contemplation.
the mystery of the undeniably felt though the witness and action of the unquestionable unseen - like looking for the spark of life itself - or, indeed the seat of the soul within the carbon it's housed in. I guess the synapses DO come closest to revealing the flight of the spirit which can take on so many different forms and material (dis)guises in order to express its many facets. And it's a bumpy ride of discovery those springs take us on when they decline to coil! :)) I like the way these couplets converge to illuminate your (hidden) lettering of meaning, Kartero. pinKrollsroyce Kate xx
Beautiful write! The words are fantastic,evoking vivid images. I was especially drawn to:'eyes blinded by sight.'
I was entranced as I read this poem. Entranced because of the pure artistry you bring to the light each and every time you compose your work. You are good, but that is saying the obvious. This is poetry. Pure poetry.
Whoa! It THAT you, man? Handsome devil . . .
Your couplets create a moment of intrigue before sending my thoughts off into a vision of completion. Suggestive lines that make the reading fun. LOVE the new pict, you look stunningly handsome in a James Bond kind of a way.
Hey Jude,
Wow, I love how you coupled these lines in this poem. Brilliant! Each couple could be a poem in theirselves. My favorite line is the last one:
"reading parchments of neuron scrolls
searching for their hidden souls"
So ancient, yet so alive. So relevent, nothing denied.
In conclusion, I believe that you are in bloom!
Keep on sending us this master poetry, you will be destined to be known as An American Writer of the century.
As always, I love reading your poetry and this latest profile pic is a winner for sure!!!!!!!!!!
Peace, light and love,
Amber
