~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
so many hearts pass through my eyes
      their dreams and thoughts buffering my sighs
   so many days have come and gone
       smiles and tears passing each dawn
 so many daggers pass my brow
    missing the target, getting by somehow
so many ideas and fits of muse
      are simple acts lighting my fuse
   so much experience, far and near
keep me on course, so persistently i steer
... have to agree that it's those "simple" "fits of muse" that are the most highly-charged in terms of igniting the inspirational touchpaper. It's comforting to know just exactly who's at the helm of this magical mystery tour, Senor; I've been dying to know what comes after Bruckheimer's "On Stranger Tides", that's for sure! :)) xx
We each must learn to "bob and weave" to get through life, in order to be able to maintain our focus on our goals. Well stated, Jude.
Jude,
So many thoughts go through my mind,
as I know that I will find,
ways to make my days relaxed,
bring me unduly taxed,
but in it all there is a light,
that tends the fire and leaves me right,
So now I say to you my friend,
always be writing to defend,
Your honor and your brilliant mind
and know that you will find,
the greatest joy and peace and love,
enlightenment from above.
You are the master poet! Let that muse keep inspiring you!
Peace, light, and love,
Amber
Dazzling bit of wordplay here, Jude. So what's new? You are AD's master, "the" master when it comes to writing poetry that far exceeds mere mortals.
You have come far. In matters of the heart's pursuit your cosmic tomahawk (good throw) is right on course leader of our poet people. Intercept the daggers and embrace the heart reincarnating...cuz that's what it is, you know. Maneuvering is tangible meridian where your muse awaits in the stardust visible in the comet's tail...
drop by drop our bucket fills
and buckets blend worlds within worlds
around the spiral ever spins
flag after flag forever unfurls
these are the thoughts your poem inspires
fanning poetry's flaming fires
be well always, jude
and at peace with all those you meet
