~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Because we endeavor
to blend our dreams,
to strengthen our bond
created when time began,
we unravel the course we’ve taken,
fashioned by creation
twisting us into form -
I never cease anticipating
our extraordinary encounters
on the rainy streets of time
nor cease looking for your mysterious face
in the reflection of life’s puddles and streams
nor deny our auras to pass through
mutual wanderings
I know you will never repudiate
who we are becoming
like me,
you still aspire to clarify our misty design
Aspiring to clarify the misty design is the task of a life, that requires clarity and vision. It also works better with love and great trust. All the facets of an encounter that develops into much more, in my opinion.
sand aggregate and water are shapeless until the hands of man blend them into concrete, then almost any form and endless functions appear - so it is with us as we have been formed, simple dna from a misty design we dare to imagine - this is creative work jude that challenges our imagination and forces us to delve into the misty slopes of our creation - I wish you love and peace my dear friend - Jon Michael
Indeedledoo, Kartero. One of your expansive, perfect utterances which quintessentially expresses the heartlonging and perennial search for the "lost" other/mother/lover which many of us experience in one form - or a combination of all three. This breathes easy, as if in the forthtelling of ancient acquired wisdom and revelation. A spell in the wilds obviously does wonders for both the clarity of your vision and the strength of your beating heart. Estupendo! :)) xx
ah the mystery of mist... socked in and saturated like a deluge of depth, this poem permeates as it probes with purpose through the reader's psyche... I love the imagery and the metaphorical purport... nicely penned, jude... will come back to this again for another read or two or three, I am sure...
I'm with you. I'm amazed at how science is beginning to unravel our heritage through archaeology in DNA analysis.
Your poem put me in a romantic mode. The mist, the memories, looking for her face in the puddles and streams of life. This is poetically brilliant, Jude. *****
Hey Jude,
I agree with Sherry, this is absolutely beautiful poetry in motion. I would never reject the idea of any of your work, you are always spot on accurate not only with your surface meanings but with the depth of emotion that is felt when I read your magnificent poetry!
This poem really touches me deeply, and it is worthy of a recitation.
If you should recite this poem please let me know I would love to hear it.
Much peace light, and love,
Amber
The last line is mystical and closes the poem so very dramatically, Jude. I like your otherworldly premise in this and many of your poems, and the use of the type font goes a long way in enabling this otherworldly premise.
