Clever, illuminating and respectful. I found it settled in nicely when read through once, then read from bottom to top and top down once again, to those last two lines so full of strength. The 'impetus' for which I respond in kind to yours, as you have expressed here, is the joy of playing the piano. My favorite line in this poem of yours is: "then all the emotion of the universe."
