spells from the old-new world

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
oh, how I despise the powerful
neo-genetic, quasi-platonic
architects of thought
molding life into whatever color, shade
or purpose they covet
gurgling psychobabble
from the lips of its paternalistic designers
shouting out it’s alive and well
and still carrying on its own bodily functions
falling in love
to dissimulate a social/political portent of arrogance
into the next generation
spreading into the mitochondria
of wasteful city agendas
flirting with the outskirts of impoverished townships
sickened by their own sense of being
dwelling and swelling
in a cultural
culture of petri dish ambitions
accepting living in a  hologram
of wet dreams and imagined longings
oh, how I loathe these pseudo-gods of earth
who love to fool the world
casting spells feverishly into every direction
I like how this reads. If I may say it reminds me a little of Richard Brautigan. Looking forward to the next one.
I was facinated by your words. How eloquently presented in the loathing. I must bow to the emotional and well written castigation of corruption perceived. Thank you for sharing. I'm glad I stopped in. Blessings always...Krissy
And very sadly, the color is always 'green.'
We do live in interesting times where everyone's agendas are forced upon us and we are controlled by a rule of someone else's idea of political correctness. Political correctness is taking care of your own life and leaving others alone to live theirs in the way that feels right for them, not being controlled by those who see themselves as demigods, believing they are omnipotent and that they have a better idea of how to run our lives than we do. It is a crazy mixed up world, Jude, you stated it clearly and perfectly.
I don't like those pompous fools either. Why do we elect them? I believe we don't, their money does.
