smoke signals

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
where did you go where?
your signal is very weak
the mountains are much too high
the city much too bleak
I am wondering
how life can throw us off course this way
sending us in such a spin
perhaps my mirrored emotions
are too frail and fail to be seen
though but maybe, just maybe
smoke signals are enabling dreams
even when the mountains are so high
they are covered by clouds and looking away
So who forgot to put their slippers on, Kemosabe (derived from the Spanish, 'quien no sabe' or 'who knows')??!! LOL!! At times, they most certainly were covered by clouds and the vultures looking away. And as for that cheeky El Levante wind, well, as always, up to monkey business. Beautiful voicing in this one, Kartero. Another to add to the recital list. Clap, clap, tap, tap, tap, clap, move the cup... :) xx
Hey Jude
You know there was a lot of smoke here the other day, was that you?
Lol really there was.
Sometimes people get so caught up in their own stuff they just cannot see beyond it. Opening our hearts and souls by first loving and trusting in ourself is the first step in seeing what one truly desires and deserves. If it's meant to be it WILL!
Have a beautiful day!
Peace light and love
Perhaps you have chosen to attempt your smoke signals in a very strong wind, mixing up the message to the point where it is incomprehensible? Is it a dream that is not whole and therefore lacks all the pieces that are necessary to complete the picture? Continue on, you are not experiencing failure, you simply need to keep trying until it all comes together. Interesting offering, Jude, the kind of situation that keep waking us up at night, frustrated, wondering if we can ever get it right.
My excuse is old age and hypothyroidism.
At least that's my story, and I'm stickin' with it.
Sometimes, our dreams just go up in smoke. Signaling nothing. But yours always catch fire. At least in the hearts of the ladies.
Seek, and yee shall find your dreams
Never cease dreaming...
Until you've found what I've found
My husband is my dream.
Oooh, the dreams which cease to seek, causes so much turmoil within ourselves. Sometimes, if possible, it is better to back away from the dreams and maybe, with a clearer head, seek a different path.
