the interpretive art of invisibility

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
there is art
in vanishing
becoming invisible
even to drones and satellites
buried under sand
with mole crabs and seagull feathers
stuffed inside bubbles
bursting in sunken beer bottles
submerged at the bottom of the sea
hiding in primordial caves
befriending bats and troglobites
running far into a dream
into the lucid ambiance of molecule bending
painted before a wall
standing perfectly still
to present an artistic
visualization of not being there
writing a season’s worth of poems
covered by autumn leaves
inside colored heaps of seasoned verses
forming words everyone can read
but only really curious bookworms
recognize what the hell they all mean
after burrowing through all the invisible pages
A fanciful write on the timidity of some writers. In a world awash with fashion models and movie stars, we would to well to keep a low profile, stating the absurd while observing the bubbles rising. M.True
There are spys everywhere, I'm not one of them, 'cause I feel like I'm visible even when I'm not around.
Hey Jude,
It's funny, I feel like I have been invisible for the past 6 months. My muse has gone into the invisible mode itself! Sometimes one needs to hide under the radar and find out what is really going on.....
I am coming within visible means very soon. Hope to spy you there, matey!
Ship Ahoy perhaps we will be more than two ships passing in the invisible mist....
Much peace, light and love,
Amber
I often attempt to be invisible, especially when I'm out in the woods trying to catch an abandoned dog. I also like caves and bats.
... bats, troglobites AND griffon vultures! :) But a season's worth of poems? I wish. However, perfectly depicts me playing invisible under my sunhat on Andalusian beaches last week and hence strongly brings to mind my poem from April 2005, 'Solar Complexus' (which unfortunately you seem to have missed) - and 'Transubstantiation' from April 2008. Gobble, gobble, yum, yum.... xx
Hey, Bob, I think I actually get this one...that 6 months in the hospital must have raised my intellectual abilities...another way to be invisible is to hide in your newly rented apartment in Glassboro NJ and become a recluse only going out to the doctor or dentist when necessary and when my car has gas in it...great write, sir Jude...e
Sometimes we are invisible by choice and other times, no matter how hard we try to convey our message, it seems as though no other human can see, hear or understand our words or existence, at all. It can get really cozy in that invisible box, Jude, be careful not to become overly reclusive.
