Hey Jude
Sounds like life reflections A self erected bridge that connects two lifetimes with many journeys and life's ups and downs to create stable environments!
We all need a solid structure and some keen density to fill in life's cracks and gaps in order to recognize the end of that journey home !
Great poetry to make this reader think.
Much peace light and love

Reminds me of the substantial ivy-covered brick farmhouse my grandparents owned. They also owned the farm across the road with a ramshackle wood farmhouse. Contrary to the "Three little piggies" fable, the ivy on the brick farmhouse destroyed the mortar, and if you drive by today, the only thing remaining is the renovated ramshackle wood farmhouse. My grandparents' solid brick home has been gone for over 30 years.
Ivy and moss can cover serious defects in the way things are held together, like fantasy trying to keep the psyche from going crazy and losing dogmatic organization.
This reminds me of spots I have seen when hiking or camping. Once I would get away from the well traveled trails and into the wilderness, I would see amazing things. Thanks for the flashbacks.
This collection of poetry addresses the nature of time, reflections on the natural world, the difficulty of loss,
contemporary social issues and gratitude for life.

And your landscaping license
Moss can't hide the truth
And bare-footing it across
Hope the moss will hold
