~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
your words are worthless
unless they are sanctioned
by the fullness of your being
and driven by the inmost longing
to connect your loving dreams
with penetrating moods
of impassioned emotion
not to befuddle the mind
with an excess of ornamental jargon
dancing through cadences
of psychobabble rhetoric
and empty sheet music
come embrace the fullness of my eyes
as they search the contours of your reflection
and see what I have searched for
even before time began and rose aflame
...Aaaah! Stone speaks as if addressing his appeal to A Voice in Passion, Resting. Even feeling as flimsy as a feather in a blizzard I can see that there's more than mere glass between snow and all those beautiful roses, Senor. No befuddlement here even though, these days, it's as if I'm permanently sleep-walking and sleep-talking and can no longer distinguish between memories, mental synapses and dreams. Perhaps a Titanic Rose or even an old, fading rose would be sufficient for your short-sighted seeman. But music and dancing, even in my sleep this is my kind of language, though it be empty. How crazy and various world is, Louis; remember how it taught Jack and Rose to spit? :) xx
Hey Jude :)
One can clearly witness through your powerful words, that they have ALWAYS been sanctioned by the fullnes of your being.. and likewise, that your poetry has ALWAYS sanctioned your words.
Beautifully incorporated, my Brother.
GOD bless you, Jude.
I agree, and well written. Personally I wouldn't judge so harshly haha, but it is the difference between the heart and the brain. From the heart is much better of course.
I'll leave embracing "the fullness of [your] eyes" to the ladies and connect with the search for meaning in the psychobabble world.
Being completely honest with our self is perhaps one of the most difficult things we ever do and many never are able to actually get there. If we can't be honest with our self, is it ever really possible to be honest with anyone else?
you have such a profound way with words. I liked the message and the lyrical way your words were put together to offer it.
Hey Jude
Ummm. A state of being that I have pondered for more than five years. Things must change for both you and I. We are kindred spirits I feel your energy!
Time to jump into those sea of dreams and into the reality it brings
No b s only truth that will set you free. Let your eyes really see what's in your soul
Much peace light and love
Amber
