This feels so comfortable and familiar that I thought at first it was another that had been 'remembered' and 'reiterated', but possibly not. Just goes to show how timelessly old and forever new it is. Particularly like:
there is the distance of identity
and the memory of why we are alive
which puts its finger nicely on both the 'out there' and 'in here' of those weirdly intangible things that keep us motivated and go to make up our sense of purpose and being. Another goody, Amigo. xx

You've been writing such beautiful couplets it should be compiled in to a book "the Passages of Jude" Beautifully penned ...
I believe this and I know I would be better off looking inside myself for answers and strength; I so rely on others (particularly special women) and if I can't have my way, I get down sometimes. Wise words, Jude. Thank you for sharing. Love and peace to you,
