Jude, this is a beautifully-flowing poem, as always. Personally, I would probably say "calm" of a larger voice, vs. "charm;" because you are battling and, when in battle, 'calmer' voices prevail. Either way, this is utterly beautiful! -- Jeff
The way to live it large is to dream it large, invoking the charmed life to overthrow the darkness. But it sure is a battle, as you suggest, to which all emancipationists can testify. Still, nothing worth having was ever easily attained. We can be 'large' in voice and imagination until 'large' comes in actuality.
