Second hand, programmed thoughts, on the word-go-round. In deep need of transcending modernity to a height where words are rarefied rather than old ways being fortified.
We're programmed by whatever our culture and experiences are. I guess you could call us automatons to that point, but there comes a point where we are above what we were programmed for. If our words are valid, then perhaps we can become our own people. I don't know if we will ever be free of our culture though. Culture promotes certain values which are necessary for survival. I could go on with this and see if it makes sense, but I guess I better leave it to the professionals. I enjoyed this Jude. Bob

a dream weaving itself
we now stand undaunted by distant storms
or blinded by the sun glowing o so strong

Wisdom teaches us that the only voice we must listen to, the only true guide we actually have and the holder of all the knowledge is the one within. That which settles within the spin of all that goes on around us is set to push us from our balance and the inherent knowledge that we each already possess. Well done, Jude. words have been manipulated and mis-construed throughout history. Actions behind the words seem to create the final image. Let's hope the tinsel of our thoughts dangling on the edge have guts.

Eloquently stated, you captured the writer's mindset perfectly. I relish those times the symbolic saliva roams within my jowls once I get past my own foolish rhetoric. That is why it takes me so long to produce a single manuscript page. As you put it, I'm busy recreating my own destruction.
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
