~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just because we desire to share
A peculiar dialogue
Born in aging bones
When youthful spirit
And the poise of direction
Still had to be formed
I can clearly understand
Your reason
To look further into the understanding
Of law, being,
Edict and creation
Still, there is an overwhelming yearning
To clarify the incentive of motive
That is, what you plan to achieve
When you finally arrive
At the horizon of self, shadow,
Life and death
Transmuting the voice
You hear from unspoken lips
As it reaches the heavens
Responding to unanswered questions
And realized dreams
Reciting imaginary poetry
After all, we are our own best friends
Aren't we?
I guess, in the end, the only best friend that we have left is ourselves. Very insightful and glad to read you again.
The transition is so beautifully-written as only Jude can write this. I was hooked from the first word right to the last. Well-done, Jude!
This grabbed me, pulled me in, took my hand and demanded that I continue to follow. It left me standing at the mouth of the vortex wondering if I should jump in, just to see what awaited me on the other side. It is nice to read you again, Jude, Happy New Year. I hope you are well.
This is delicious in it's introspect and begs more than one reading.
In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu
In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
