I’m choked, no air, blue lips
Drawn face,
stymied by contrition.
Gasping, cramping, cringing
Clinging for hope,
Living on borrowed rope, frayed,
weak and useless…I cry like Lamentations of old;
From whence comes my strength,
I know not.
No, I will not fail!
Nor will I submit to defeat.
Let the chips fall where they may,
Guilt may be the devil that drives
me to gallows, yet unseen.
Fear may be the conductor on
this horror ridden train of destruction.
Lunacy may be the captain of this rudderless ship,
but, I will not fail!
Renewed strength powers me on; drive,
determination, zeal, like the Phoenix rising
from the ashes I will succeed, and this I know
for sure…
I will defeat Umaga on “Raw’s Pay Per
View WWE Wrestling” this Sunday night!
