Love’s Addiction

© 2008

Dan Johnson

I am content that you can tell me about your addiction, Love,

it makes me love you that much more.

Now let me tell you about my love for you

I love:

Your hand on mine covering the world we push so far away.

Your breath as it blows gently across my face.

Your touch as it sends joyous volts coursing throughout my body.

Your eyes that light up my world with erotic brilliance.

Your lips that kiss my body from top to bottom and everywhere in between.

Your soft seductive voice reigning down from passions domain

                                                            Whispering loves sweet refrain.

It’s easy to see, Love, why I am addicted to you.

Some take love as a medicine, others are addicted, and we call them the love junkies.
