My youngest grandson, Noah, is growing so fast. Already looking forward to my next visit so much.

Poem Artwork

My Little Guy

Another picture in my email box

A little bit of heaven, a lot of shock

A few weeks ago you were a baby it seems

Now I see a child staring back at me

You love french fries just like your dad

Throw a tantrum or two when you’re being bad

Underfoot whenever Mom tries to cook

Can’t sleep without reading your storybook

So once again I'll get in my car and drive

I can’t wait to see you when I arrive

Will you run to me or be in a mood

Missing me, you often brood

Hand in hand we’ll go to the park

Giving up only when it gets too dark

Too tired to walk, I’ll carry you back

Moments like these keep us on track

Asleep in my arms, my heart all aglow

Grammy loves you and misses you so

When I have to leave I always cry

Departing with memories of my little guy

This is SOOO sweet! You almost make me cry, which should tell you I'm a Grammy, too, so I know the yearning we can get to be with our little angels. Noah is adorable!

RaeLynn,
First I have to say, he is the most adorable little guy! As I read this poem, I felt all the love you have for him..I started to cry happy tears, and long for the day to be able to hold one of my grandchildren. I have three children all over the age of 24 and none of them have children. I don't want to make it an issue, but I really want a grand baby...I know this is what is missing in my life. You are so blessed.
Peace, love, and light to you and your beautiful little guy!

Being a grand parent is the most wonderful thing in the world and you captured that loving feeling we share so well. I know just working again and not having the time to see mine as much left me aching to hold them when I talked to them on the phone.

I guess when it comes to kids we are big softies. Handsome little boy and lucky to have great grandma like you.

Oh Raelynn this is so beautiful and look at that little face with those big eyes. I could see me now shooing the gals away as he gets older. Thank you for sharing your pride with us.

I know that's Noah, but what happened to our cute little baby boy. He looks all growed up. Those eyes, he's gonna be a lady killer. And I know they're already working, he's got you and me under his spell. Thanks for the nice surprise - picture and poem.

Love you. Kathy

P R E C I O U S, RaeLynn, a most adorable child! Of course, all grandchildren are angels, according to their grandparents. :) Love this one, well done.
