Limbo: Any status where a person or project is held up, and nothing can be done until another action happens.
Living still in a state of limbo
Not knowing which way I should go.
The best years of my life I gave,
Only to be thought of as a slave.
Someone just to do their bidding,
Giving love without conditions.
For years and years that was my mission.
Now my days are filled with remorse,
Over a life without a course.
Friends were lost because of lies,
Who never knew the other side.
Abandoned, scorned, thrown into purgatory,
That is only half the story.
Still reaping the benefits of my kindness,
Living happily and truly mindless.
Thinking now that all is well,
You know your Karma has yet to tell.
You believe that you’re all set,
But the market has more for you yet.
Your greed and vengeance shall take it’s toll,
And in your money you’ll no longer roll.
I guess you think that it’s all fine,
But it’s just a matter of time.
I understand completely reciprocity's invention. Sharp tongued and half witted people are everywhere. Ever notice how they resort to using projection as their choice defense mechanism? I'm certain you have. Thank you for this bundle of truths.

Don't know how I missed this one! It is somewhat of a mystery
why people who have so much in their favor,seem to have
trouble with relationships. I think one reason can be the fact
that those with so many attribues and talents are envied or feared as being superior!I know of one wife who so resented her husbands
talents, she made up false reasons to divorce him,sad fact...

Walt, it was good to see your words. Seems like many weeks since you've written. I've been missing you. This poem goes to the gut and expresses a real depth of life. Thanks for going there and sharing it.
Living in Limbo...certainly alone, because if you get company, say, seven more in that place...always there will be plenty time of a game of Texas Hold'm Poker to pass the time, to no ruminate about so many "if" and philosophically say, "que serà, serà"

This poem I understand all too well...greed and a vengeful heart will reek havoc on the owner of it...far too many have this kind of heart... I wish you well Walt, you deserve it! Love Holly
Well Walt just as purgatory is the limbo of sin, I believe the limbo of love is just as painful but also has a hope of salvation. I think it is only you though who can decide when you can walk away from the limbo of love.

You manged to craft a heart-renching piece about the kind of regret that we can all relate to, and yet you did it in a poetic form that I find very readable.
This composition's wording was dictated by a soul that earned a ticket to freedom's city. I wish the author a blissful voyage.
I can visualize His Holiness, Poet Hesiod ~ sending his energies (blessings) for continue creativity and long healthy life to the author of "Living in Limbo".
It is a learning pleasant experience to read a poem of the magnitude of "Living in Limbo".
I like this satire/irony poem. It really captures the economic ideals of the current CEOs, and other bosses. Excellent write. I hope some get some jail time. That would probably be too much to them. Business as usual. Liz
