Before the cover of nightfall
Hundreds lie in wait
For the coming of the thousands
Who stormed the Iron Gate

The rain a relentless torrent
That cast a shadow of gloom
On those who stood to fight this foe
And send them to their doom
Courage masked the look of fear
Hidden on each face
For this foe had only malice
To wield its iron mace

Shields broad, armor thick
Annihilation done in haste
To cast out every living soul
To cease the human race
Beasts who showed no mercy
For they received none
And the Earth had buried the dead
When all was said and done

One release of the arrow
Began this battle row
With the force of a brazen onslaught
From the catapults below
On the ladders of the castle
The foe climbed to the top
Coming ever closer
Like pouring water upon rock

The King's Men fought bravely
To keep the foe at bay
But alas its massive army
Willfully had their way
"Fall back and barricade
"Within the castle walls!"
Commanded the King to his Men
As they fled to the halls

Though wounded were many
And resistance was weak
They summoned all courage
As the King began to speak
"For the love of our Brothers"
"Who made the great fall!!!"
Yelled the King to his Men
As they cleared the Great Hall

With the will of their swords
And its strength of steel
They defeated the foe
And compelled them to yield
Victory! Victory!
On a day such as this
When the will of Man
Returned evil to the abyss!
