“Dad is it always this cold here in September, or is it because I just came out of The desert”
And so it went as we did sit
By the warming campfire Him and I we, talked about old times Women and lies and stories from the War He left behind He is back home I need not know more Welcome home
Bravo! A special poem you share with us this day, and I thank you for doing so! Blessings to you and your son and may you fully enjoy your time together.
In my eyes not tears to cry, Your words are warming,No wonder why...
Father,Poet...Outstanding guy. Please convey my regards.I hope you both are well.Jen
Stan,
This is sad in the fact that after a deployment in the desert, your son had forgotten what September at home felt like. I am hoping for his speedy adjustment back into the "world."

'I need not know more'... I remember when my son-in-law came home from Iraq and that feeling of utter relief. I would watch my grandchildren just touch him as though to do would ensure he'd not go away again. This is a beautiful piece.. and to your son I also say 'Welcome home'.
Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
A wicked Cajun Fairy named Robes Pierre entered the impenetrable Magical doll land of Sha Bebe. Queen Faustina, the ruler of the doll land, thought she had destroyed him, but he's back! Will the doll land survive his evil ways?
The warmth of your writing fills my heart with joy - life is at should be!
To your son, please convey a heart-felt "Thank you for his sacrifice."
Blessings,
Kathy
