Bossy little Jasmin

Cute though!

It’s you that made this stew

And that awful brew

Now you drink, It, and you chew

It’ll be good for you!

I could see it in her eyes

To my cooking she got wise

No teasing would entice

She knew me telling lies

My daughter down the stairs she came

To her she always tame

But this time, would not entertain

Neither dance nor shame

She coaxed, cajoled, and begged

She stroked her and they necked

But this treat she would reject

What did you expect?

Her head and nose

Bend stubborn to her toes

And in this stature froze

No one dared come close

There was a mighty growl

She pushed away her bowel

Bare teeth she showed from jaw to jowl

Her demeanour very foul

Kathleen my daughter she talked sweet

Jasmin my dear, you gots to eat

If you do, you’ll get a treat

But she kept on looking at her feet

The pizza man now at the door

That five pound tiger on the floor

No introductions or décor

To him went without detour

Handed over the pizza quick

Jasmin knew she’d get first pick

The cheese, she liked it real thick

This was a meal she said, it did the trick

Then she laid her head between the pillows on my bed

Her paws upturned her tummy stretched and fed

Snoring now, hi c she’d get

That’s the kind of life she led

Then at night it was no better feat

I did what she decreed

She laid her head between my feet

And there would go to sleep

Oh my aching back

So much sleep did lack

Everything was out of whack

My spine was out of track

But dare not did I move

Disturb her in that groove

If she not did approve

Her temperament need sooth

The doctor said you will be fine

A small contraction on the spine

Lay on your back decline

In foetal crouch you should recline

And as it came to be

It was either her or me

My bed I had to flee

And let her snore so free!

Arthritis now on my lower back

Wow does it hurt when I hit the sack

Everything now out of whack

Another bed, but yet she’s back

Several beds before

Had to leave because I snore

This one bossier than the wife if I kept score

Yet her, I do adore!

Ha!
